Traveling Teddy-Branston!

Branston arrived safely in Colorado on the 15th of August, and helped me move back into my house at school.

On Monday, Branston accompained me to Monday Night BOWLING!!
He helped us to pick out our Bowling Names, and came up with a new one for my friend Paul!
Then he went in for his first frame.... annnd decided the ball was WAY to big for him to be bowling...so he sat and watched and cheered us on for the rest of the evening. :D

After the evening was over, he got a little chilly on the way home, so he asked for a scarf, which I promptly started knitting. He went to class with me for the week, all while I worked on his scarf. He's decided that he wants to be an Engineer! Unfortuantely, my advisor didn't think we
We got Branston's scarf *which can later be used as a bookmark* all knitted up, so that he could stay warm!

Now hes off to Kansas, where his scarf will have to be used as a belt, because of the temperature difference!
house. Which involved so much unpacking that we forgot to take pictures...Then we spent the weekend resting on the couch. We did have to make an emergency trip to the yarn store for a ball winder, but since the camera was still MIA from unpacking.... could get him approved on such short notice.....

Traveling Teddy-Effie!

Effie has been visiting with me in Arizona! She started in Colorado, where I live, and we took a road trip down here...She snapped a picture of the welcome to AZ sign!

After arriving in AZ, she decided to spend a couple days resting. She helped me to knit up a blanket for my sister *see my daisy blanket project on ravelry!* and we watched a TON of movies. After watching Finding Nemo, she decided she needed a sea-creature friend to accompany her on her travels, so we set about making her a sea turtle! The only problem was, she wanted him in original colors, because if shes a pink bear, there's certainly nothing wrong with a purple turtle!!

After this, she went to work with me for a day, you can see her here in her hard hat!

Unfortunately, we couldnt take any pictures at work, because the camera batteries died, but she spent all day working with me in the mill designing new pipe fittings! She took a mine tour and even snagged a piece of copper rock for her very own.

After all this adventure, Effie decided to relax by the pool,

and take a walk around the apartment complex. She saw a cool tree, and needed to climb in it,
she said it made her feel like a koala!

Then she saw her first cactus and HAD to have a picture!! Unfortunately, it was across the street, and she couldn't be in the middle of the road, so things are a little fuzzy, but if you look real hard, you can see the cactus in the background!!

its been a lot of fun, but now its time for Effie to keep on a moving!
We sure had fun! Bye Effie!
